My favorite tree in the front yard, my pink desert willow! Creating a fan shape so I can set a bench behind her in a couple more years. Very drought resistant although heavy ice took at the tops of the 2 we have in the back yard. The husband loves the smell, me not so much but bees and butterflies love it!
Ive tried to grow these from seed but no luck
We grow over a hundred a year from seed, covering lightly in 1" seed starter packs under grow lights in winter. About 80% germination rate. I harvest my seeds about september when theyre pods are ready to break open on their own
