@honestgreensco really do think the world outside the desert doesn’t really understand it. I’d have assumed it was just for tropical plants but didn’t realise til recently it gets damn cold too! Means even more plants I can look at getting 😉😂🤣
@kez001uk pretty much why i can buy so much land for cheap. I bet saudi arabians or people from dubai would buy the whole mojave desert if they knew how cheap it was. Americans undervalue stuff they dont understand, and with deserts americans dont even want to farm the good land, now the desert land , thats a big joke lol. I knew about farmers in deserts so when i saw land i bought it lol. In sonora mezico the desert is worse then lancaster so i literally just saw inspiration from mexicans
@kez001uk alot of desert plants are what i can extreme plants which means because they can withstand extreme heat and cold, they handle plague better which dies with cold and heat, they handle water better, they handle nutrients better because they have none..sorry to get sidetracked but i mean to say they are probably thousands of amazing desert plants that would do amazing in your area and ud have to water way less due to humidty and rain
@honestgreensco their lack of knowledge has been to your benefit 😉 you’re willing to work your arse off to make your land productive too, most wouldn’t have the drive or imagination to do so. Don’t apologise, it’s interesting finding out about things that work in different climates 😁 means I can try different plants 😉 I live in a fairly mild part of the uk but even one frost can destroy loads. Plants that’ll tolerate extremes would be perfect!
@kez001uk exactly! Its definitley a challenge! Nobody is america wants to farm anymore lol. We went from 90% in 1910 to less then 1% farmer population in 100 years! The good thing for you and me is there is alot of plant genetica being mixed so now plants in the future will be much more resilient for our yardens
Desert willow flowers. This tree is extremely drought tolerant and gives beautiful pink flowers. #pink #desertwillow #trees #summerflowers #summer #garden #gardening #gardener #droughttolerant #flowerphotography #flowers #flowering #blooming #nature #happy #plants #entrepreneur #landscaper #naturephotography #landscaping #la #losangeles #cali #california
