@cowdenkyle thats cute i never cut mine and there doing fine some people do that cuz its what they were taught i try to keep everyplant as if nature is taking care of it not to much human intervention lol

This was given to me about a month ago. It was basically dead so I removed all the foliage. It's been getting lots of water, fertilizer, and full sun. It now has 4 new leaves and is working on a fifth leaf🌿🍌 #banana #freebie #newgrowth

What zone are you in?

I’d put in the ground, and heavy mulch it. Feed it banana peels, ashes and urine. Bring a baby in for the winter just in case.
