Not sure how tall, maybe 6 ft or so, but maybe not here! Can't remember the exact source but I got them on eBay, as I have with a lot of seeds this year, as I'd never see these seeds in the shops! @columbiariver

Hi jeatacake I have a pic on my profile of banana trees. I've never grown them in a pot. I do know like you that they are very tropical needing a lot of sun and water but the trunks start holding water that's one reason we cut them down to about 3 feet high so they don't freeze in the winter but if it gets toooo cold where u live (maybe that's why u have em in a pot) they can come in even through the winter my extra bdrm is full of plants with 2 grow lights they do fine keep us updated

Thanks @terrimclaughlin I doubt they will get too big this year. I already have one on my windowsill at work & these 2 will stay in the house, as I don't heat my greenhouse, unless it's forecast to fall below zero.

I got 3 to germinate out of 10 seeds, which I am happy with (Lord knows where I'd put 10 banana plants!)😀
