Kalanchoe

I moved recently and it didn't get much sunlight where I had it so it started to die. Can I trim the healthy part under the live node and plant that to have it continue to grow? It is still growing what appear to be roots from the node. They are red with a white tip. Are these indeed roots?

mine is starting to flower so just increase the light level and water if it's dehydrated

It’s leggy. (Mine is too, even after several cut backs & clones). Cut 1/4” below the roots popping out of the sides of the branch. (Be sure to cut at least 6” or so and chop off the leaves that will be in the water during new root growth to prevent rot. Based on your photos you may get couple healthy new root growths from one cutting. This plant hydroponically propagates very quickly & you’ll get a bushier plant that flowers under the right lighting conditions! The cutstalk will continue to grow

@cyndi I didn't know that, thank you. Upon going through the tag I think it may be a kalanchoe longiflora. Though I've have it about a year though and it has never bloomed or budded. It did start growing offshoots in the nodes of the older leaves, near the base. Unidentified most of those died before I could relocate it or take cuttings from it.
