@davewrightjoinerygooglemail.co desperate for some of this dave but scared as dont have a huge garden, do you bury it in a bucket to keep spreading under control? Any tips? X

@manny1 I've put it in a builder's bucket jo with the handles on the side so I can pull it up. It's growing quickly , but should keep it a bit more confined in the tub. Watch this space 😂

@carolecuttingitfine I'm not to sure carole, that's why I've put it in a builders bucket, so I can pull it up. I've just wanted one for ages 😂

Have you any water? Pond or stream? I wanted one for ages too and planted it on the bank of the stream last year..

@carolecuttingitfine no carole, it's going to need buckets of water over it. With the two tree ferns as well, I'm going to have to get some more water butt 😮

It's 4 weeks today since I got my gunnera, it's coming along nicely 🤗

Morning all. Up at 5.00 am with fresh enthusiasm after doing nothing for a week. Gunnera planted and ready to grow. Hopefully 🤗.

I was considering growing one of those, is that a bucket you've planted it in 😀?

@cottagegardendave it's one of those builders buckets Dave, with some holes in the bottom. I'm not sure how it's going to grow, so I can move it if I have to 😂

At last I've got one, think it's going by the pond in a pot. My wife says if I can't see out of the kitchen window , I'm chopping it down 😂.
