Morning all. Todays Favorite 🤗
What's that triangle thing behind the plants? A stack of pots? A bug hotel?
@sushiwaitress its a bug hotel ruth, but #frank my dog keeps pulling all the cones and sticks out of it. Only he could get away with this 😂

That's such a lovely combination Dave
@DeborahBanks thanks Deborah, the best thing about pots. You can shuffle them around a bit.
I really like your phormium too, I've been trying to decide on one.
@DeborahBanks thats getting settled now Deborah, which means it'll probably double in size this year.

Great colour on this at the moment.
That's fab Dave
@DeborahBanks it was even better deborah until a wood pigeon sat on it and broke the top branch 🙄
I’ve got some overweight wood pigeons- but what’s a bird to do ? 🤣😜
Your flowers are early Dave it’s usually spring....👍🏼
@wagsmomthompsonbtinternetcom it said late winter on the label elaine. Oh well , autumn, winter , and spring, will have to do. My rhododendron is flowering aswell 🤔
Just had a look on label and it says...Loropetalum ‘fire dance’ flowers spring so it’s slightly different but the same....🥺

@davewrightjoinerygooglemail.co do you give it winter protection ♥️👌
@suerichards i didnt last winter sue, and it looked pretty poor. Its in a sheltered spot, but does need protecting really. I will be this year. Could do with a big greenhouse really.

This has been tucked away for far to long. Time to let it show off.
@davewrightjoinerygooglemail.co is this a Chinese witch hazel? I’ve put mine in the ground but wondering if I need to put it in a pot and in different soil or regular soil. 🤔
@pixierose its a loropetalum, christine. There not really frost hardy, so reccomend bringing indoors in winter.
@davewrightjoinerygooglemail.co that’s what mine is called but in brackets it says Chinese Witchhazel. Thank you for the advice on hardiness. I think I’ll put it in a pot. 😊🙏🏼
@pixierose i dont know why they have to call them different names, its so confusing 😂
Definitely confusing Dave.

My plants arrived. Not so pleased with it really. Nowhere near as nice as the one in the g/c but ill give it a go 😏
Love the foliage colour 👍
I paid 30 +delivery for this. It said it would be about 30 ins which it might just be from the bottom of the pot, a bit misleading really. See how it gets on with a bit of tlc 🤗 @debrascott
Theres not much in the garden worth showing at the moment, but this is 🤗
Wow that's stunning 💗💜💗
I like that one
