I'm looking to get one, would a rhododendron be ok in a huge pot ?

What would you recommend to make leaves dark green please I have just this month fed mine water with white vinegar in as they like acid I have been told xxx

Not good on my Rhododendrons I'm afraid, ( one of the shops customers is a Rhoddy lover I'll show him when he comes in see if he can twig ) 🤔but a stunner . Enjoy your day.

@sprout you could be right, it does look very similar. If I don't get any better suggestions then Cosmopolitan it is!

@Cathyskely Rhododendrons are acidic loving plants if it is in a container I would repot it in to ericaceous compost with with composted leaves or bark mixed in. If it is in the garden feed with sulphate of iron or an ericaceous feed. Feed twice a year and mulch with garden compost or leaf mould in late Autumn

We love Rhododendron too.... We keep ours in big tubs as our soil isn't right for them... We also move them into different parts of our garden to change the look.....

Wow, I hope mine comes out that colour. I love the surprise of buying an unidentified plant.
