I don’t often disagree with Monty…..but last night he said Aquilegia should be cut back to the ground this time off year!!! What nonsense. The seed heads are so elegant and provide a few more seedlings next year, the dark stems are beautiful and the changing colours of the foliage into the winter is gorgeous!
