First of the roses to bloom and my wife informs me that there are 47 more buds at the moment😃

With so many blooms, and when there is little or no wind around, the scent is getting really quite heady!

What a lovely surprise.... the bud was quite red and you can see a tinge on the outer petals. #plantid Does anyone know the variety?

I would recommend contacting the Rose Society, someone may be able to identify it for you 😊
