Begonia

I've discovered I'm really not a fan of these. They are too frilly for me.

These are going in a tall pot next year. Pretty but i can't see them very well.

Happy Friday!!! I've had a swine of a week at work. It's all hot and muggy here with quite strong winds and episodes of rain. My newly opening (not just yellow) begonia has cheered me up and I have wine in the fridge 🍷🍾🥂

Good morning everyone, its another grey miserable day here with ⛈⚡🌩☂️ predicted. Here's a bit of sun, my freebie bulb begonia are doing really well. So far they are all yellow.

Fully open and definitely helping with my 'issues' I have with yellow flowers when I planted the bulbs I hoped for no yellow. I blame dandelions!

If you don't like yellow Deborah that means no daffodils! Can't imagine life without daffodils, they brighten up winter and herald the start of spring. 🌼🌻🏵

Good point @lilybee! Although I do tend to favour the white variety in my own garden. But you are right, they are a cheerful sight.

I have discovered the absolute joy in planting something and watching it appear and grow. I got these begonia free with a plant order. They make me happy when I wash up.

And that feeling never dies...it’s a wonder every time! 😍

Are they apricot shades? I got them free a couple of years ago. Am down to two corms now but they are still going strong 🧡

@jendren they are a mix of colours. I have another bag waiting of the pot being vacated
