Hippeastrum 'Candy Floss'

So excited! I bought a plant a couple seasons ago & got 2 side shoots come up. I've separated them & they're shooting again! Love #bulbs!

Mine has finally grown a flower

I have 2, bought at a school fayre, was overjoyed when they flowered beautifully last year x

I brought one for £5.00 from a outside flower stall. It's has been beautiful three stems of stripped ref and white with lime green stigmas

How do you look after them after flowers mine has shrunk but still has leaves don't know if you waterornot

Mine has leaves all year round. I water very sparingly tho.

But when I cut off all the leaves & stop watering the bulb will go dormant as all bulbs do.

When they stop flowering leave them. Feed and then don't water them so they suck back the goodness into the leaves. Then they'll dry out and rest and then around Christmas time put them in a pot of soil not buried and start them off again. They like to be rested otherwise you'll just keep getting leaves.
