These have popped up all around the front of the mini pond. It's where I dug up some lawn so they're the last thing I expected, am quite amazed! β₯οΈβ₯οΈβ₯οΈ #projectminipond

What a lovely surprise. Theyβre gorgeous Denise π

Thanks π @rachelbrooks

Help me identify this plant, lots popping up near my pond π€ very pretty #plantid

Thought it was Red Flax at first, but think the edges are too frilly ππ» could be a Maiden Pink π€

Some kind of dianthus π

The stalk looks like a dianthus ππΌ

@rachelbrooks I think it is red flax. @Mikekally posted a pic which @natii identified as red flax. The leaves look the same. Actually looking again, it doesnβt quite look the same!! π€¦πΌββοΈ. Ignore me!! ππ

Dβyou say something Alison? π€π€£ Iβm pretty sure itβs a Maiden Pink (Dianthus) but it does look very similar to Red Flax π @bluefox23

@bluefox23 πππ

@bluefox23 π I agree with @rachelbrooks it looks very similar to Red Flax (it's definitely the same beautiful colour!), but I also think it's a Dianthus π Maybe Dianthus deltoides? Or another one, I don't know there are just too many π

Wow thanks everyone π It's growing up through an area that was previously grass which I'm trying to keep weed free, it's in scatters here & there! How has that happened, I'm chuffed π @rachelbrooks @ublaszko @wagsmomthompsonbtinternetcom @cyndi @bluefox23 @mikeally @natii
