Four years today we lost our mum. Mum gave me this hydrangea leaf in a pot when I got my first ever garden almost 6years ago. I didn't know I was meant to leave it in the pot so I planted it.. Mum asked me next time I saw her how is the leaf? I told her I planted it still remember the conversation was funny oh your meant to leave it in the pot for a bit.. wait and see.. Makes me smile.. It grew into a twig now its a bush I smile every time I see new shoots appear like now.. And when it flowers I

4 years ago I got my first garden Mum gave me a leaf in a pot of soil from her garden. I planted it.. Mum asked how the leaf was getting on I told her i had planted it. Mum said it should have stayed in the pot to see if it took.. Amazingly the leaf grew it became a twig then grew more shoots till it is now a three foot bush didn't expect the leaf to survive. Look at the flowers from it I forget how lovely hydrangea look in a vase and this hydrangea is extra special 💕

Sadly @vec this was the only cutting I got from mum before she became ill. The red rose I took from mums garden after she passed away. Thanks @rachelbrooks 😊 it holds special memories makes me smile.. Mums face when I said I had planted the leaf 😂😂😂 amazed it grew 💕 miss her very much x

I recently bought a candlelight hydrangea it's just starting to flower and it's growing fast.. Looking forward to seeing how this one grows 😊

Mum gave me a leaf in a pot of soil 3 years ago. I took it home and put the leaf in the garden. Mum said should have left it in the pot it may not take.. Well it did take and It is growing and growing it is a gorgeous colour this extra special plant 💓💓
