Fuchsia (Half Hardy)

I'd take 3 cuttings one to give away one for a backup & the other one in case you lose your main plant. They can keep each other company in one little pot😂Try to get cuttings of shoots that are not flowering about 4/5 inches long. Cut at an angle above a leaf joint. This will identify the top and cut straight across below a leaf joint for bottom. Don't use weak stems try to get good strong cuttings. Remove all leaves except top 2 & remove any flowers or buds. Continued🔽

If you don't have hormone rooting powder or gel. It's worth spending a couple of pounds on a tub. It will last forever but will certainly help to prevent disease and encourage growth of your cutting. Dip your cutting in hormone powder then stick them round the edge of your compost pot. Keep it on the windowsill to give it light and don't let it dry out. A north or east facing window is best. Direct sun is too strong for cuttings. Good luck 😀
