Wow that sounds amazing. I fancy trying that too what soil are you using it looks like lots of charcoal there. I tried to grow ginger but I think it got too wet.

@tina @GardenChick I just planted some fresh tumeric rhizome. I make all my soils handmade, so fast draining for tropicals. Give them some heat and time....

I have some turmeric plants too. The leave is great to wrap foods esp fish while u roast it or steam it. We use turmeric leaves at home in our kitchen.

@nandini I use it to make authentic Indian curries. Along with my ginger I grow! I'm also growing cardamon plants...
