@gjones the root is harvested, dried and milled into turmeric :) the leaves can be used to wrap fish before BBQing or roasting them, for a subtle flavour. The flowers are pretty too!
We don't keep them long enough to bloom @gjones - they're harvested before that 😇
Are they in the ginger family? I have never seen the leaf/plant before.
