How do I know if it's weeping or if it grew in a crazy shape from a severe ice storm we had several years ago? One throws long arching branches from the top of it way up high across the 'plant island' and is into everything. The other one is growing like a fountain out of the ground in 5-6 different directions. They don't look good unfortunately and I want to prune them (when it's time) but I don't want to hurt such established trees. #pruning #advice-pruning #birch #silverbirch #advice-needed
