A little smaller than I would like for mid June however I haven't blinded any this year. Soon time to build the support tower 😘 🌻 later a trip to the allotment to see how the biggest head is coming on #competition

Ohh wow I've always been to worried to grow these they get to big lol but I have a allotment now 🤔😀
We have grown them for years, in our village every child is given a pumpkin and sunflower seed to set :) I find the best place is in the boarder next to the drain pipe. Our record is 15ft i think

I've had some really bad batches of seeds this year! None of my Wilkos cucumbers, pumpkins or courgettes have germinated (maybe they cross pollinated) my dahlia tubers were in bits and now my Russian giant #sunflower #seeds are rotten and cracked... 🙏 please grow
Oh that's a shame. But keep trying.
I will @charlotte it is just a pain.. I love my yellow courgettes and this year haven't got any. Hopefully the local veg shop will have them in :)
