It's 8 million times simpler than slicing through the veins at precise intervals and pinning the leaf against the surface of the soil. IDK why ppl have to make it so complicated @docthrill
I did a lot of online research on line and only saw procreation in water only done with a branch. Are those just the leaves or is there a nice stem in there ?
Cuttings -- or kittenings, since the kittens broke these off -- of "Black Mamba" and "Pandora," now rooting in water.
My kittens do that for me all. The time. Lol wish they would let me ask first haha
Does rooting in water work well on begonias Eileen ?
It mostly has for me @docthrill -- if push comes to shove I have a jar of rooting compound.
I’ll have to give that a try

"Pandora" doesn't even have a whole petiole to work with, but "Black Mamba" includes a chunk of the main stem.
In other words @docthrill -- I'm confident about "Black Mamba" but "Pandora" is strictly a 'wait and see' situation...
Oky doky
FWIW every sad-looking leaf has perked up nicely in water so where there's life, there's hope @docthrill
I agree
