No - no babies yet. They were outside for the summer and conditions probably weren't to their liking, but they seem to be putting on healthy new growth now. @PunkyKy
I just got my Bonnie #spiderplant.🕷 Looks like there might be one or two little babies starting to form..... actually it's a lot of 🕷smaller spider plants🕷 in one hanging basket....i just love it...and I have 🕷two baby spider plants🕷 I got from my friend @cyndi and I'm also growing one from seed....it just sprouted! 🌱 Yay!
Exciting @PunkyKy! Do you keep yours outside? Sorry, I forget if US zone 8 is warm or cold. From that picture of the one from seed, it looks like it is growing outside. Here, spiderplants are houseplants - so common in my childhood home that I am actually just now warming back up to them again. My mother had them EVERYWHERE😐😉😉
Perhaps I will dig mine in a shady spot next summer. Kept them in the pot this year and they sulked. They were probably too close to a wall and didn't get enough moisture - despite all the rain we had. @cyndi @PunkyKy
A bit of sunshine can make everything feel special.
I love spider plants! 🕷
I do too @PunkyKy, but my children call them false advertising -- because where are the spiders??? No imagination!
Lol....thats funny! Have yours made babies?
