Hey guys I have a quick question about my mama suc! The leaves all used to point outwards (as the bottom ones are) but the top ones have started pointing upwards? It can't be stretching for the sun because it's on a south facing window and has sun all day long, too much maybe??
That's normal. As they grow they move down to make space for the new leaves :) Same with most succulents
@Alcurtis93 ah great that makes perfect sense! Thank you!

You can't see it that great but 3 tiny roots have sprouted from the mother echeveria!! So so happy that my first full succulent propagation is going to plan ☺️
Now you know how to do you you may get addicted like I have and end up with loads of succulents 😁
@angiecrazycatlady that's the plan!! I've propagated one leaf before but this time done 15 leaves and the mother plant! My plan is actually to do loads and maybe start selling them but we will see haha x
Great idea, I've got a jelly bean plant and the lower leave often drop off, nearly every one roots and grows, succulents are so easy....I love them 😄
@angiecrazycatlady I have a jelly bean plant too, took a leaf off and dried it out, now on soil but not doing anything.. got some advice for me? Haha would be appreciated xx
I just lay them on damp soil and they grow little roots then grow plants. I give them a list with water rather watering them with a can 😊
@angiecrazycatlady hey thought I'd update you, most of my leaves have rooted now!! I done it yayyyy haha x

My succulent leafs all planted, some are covered with soil and some laid on top! I couldn't find a suitable pot for the mother plant so I hope she manages to root 🌵
