Cutting down the bamboo at local Rangers volunteer group today. We stripped the leaves/lateral shoots off so another team could make insect huts out of them for the park.

Was there an easy way to strip them?

We used a Swiss Bush Hook, really easy to use and fast.

A guy I used to do work with took an old Greenbean slicer, took the blades out and just left the outer ⭕️ used that, mainly on willow but should do the same for Bamboo... 4 handed job, one puts threw the other pulls, much fun to be had. ⬆️⬆️ @jenlamaye
