I took a picture earlier this week asking what was attacking my rosemary, one helpful comment was possible root rot.. but the soil is so dry and sandy. Anyway I keep peeking at it to see if it’s getting worse etc and just by chance I pinched off a cluster of affected leaves and this little caterpillar/worm was inside almost cocooned...I think this is what is happening. Does anyone know what it is and how to get rid of?? It’s definitely that... I’ve just found another one. What is it?

Its a caterpillar. I just take the tops off the ones with one in or squish with fingers @flowerpotBeth

Does anyone know what’s attacking my rosemary... the leaves are going brown. Some kind of mite? And how do I get rid of the little buggers?

It’s not bugs, it’s drainage. Root rot causes this problem. They love a dry arid environment so soil needs to be free draining. If sitting in damp or slightly waterlogged soil this will happen. Keep an eye on them and if necessary dig up and add lots of grit into the bed they are in or pot ☺️
