Yeah, I should have explained it better. A nearby milkweed has grown through the asphalt of the driveway! Rabbits have since "pruned" it back to its stems. The driveway needs to be repaired anyway, so it's going to be okay. I like having this milkweed there, as it smells wonderful while in bloom.

@Acetaker I should also state that while Asclepias syriaca (pictured) has runners, I find Asclepias tuberosa to have better behavior as I've never experienced it trying to spread by any other means than seed.

@flyingpig I have not been able to grow,looked for seeds but unable to...what does it smell like?

@Acetaker Scent is very subjective, but I think it's sweet, light, and flowery. I'm seeing it described online as everything from lilac to hyacinth to violet, using adjectives like heavenly, delicate, and pleasing.
