Double, semi double and single flowers all on the same plant at the same time. I can hardly see the foliage for the flowers! 40+ open and counting. Possibly the best plant I ever bought :)

@tina you can't expect much from a clematis in its first year, however i think it's better to buy a plant with a good rootstock in at least a two litre pot if you want better and quicker results . Cheap 9cm pot clematis from supermarkets can take some time to establish, plus life's too short 😊

I had some 9cm pots but brought 2 in 2 litre pots on 3 weeks ago
