Lovely colours! 😍 I'm doing purple and mauve border as well as purple is my favourite colour 💜💜 I had to dig up salvia and though as the soil wasn't free draining enough in my flowerbeds. I'm trying perovskia instead 😊 and keeping my fingers and toes crossed 😁😁

I had plans for some perovskia but couldn't get hold of any decent plants this year. Good idea! I always chuck a layer of grit in the hole under anything that's averse to wet feet, plus the whole area has soil improver dug in to aid drainage 😬 @ublaszko

I added soil improver but couldn't get hold of grit. Only recently realised I can order grit on Amazon 😁 (I don't have a car). I bought my perovskia in Wilko for £3 and it's going to flower the same year 😊👍
