@grandmagizzy You could have a look at Carex pendula but yours looks a more choice species

Thanks Ian @ianshaw searched a few Carex looks a bit like Carex acutiformis or pendula but whatever it is I've no recollection of planting it .......

This stuff gets all over the place once you have it! I'd pull off those seed heads pretty quickly unless you want it all over the garden! 😀
