Garden is a corner plot in village in Chilterns. Lived here about 30 years but only had time for the garden since I retired in 2013. Love flowers 🌻🌹

@sharonhayden Hi Sharon when we moved into this house in 1993 there was a pond with a willow tree in the front garden surrounded by these lilies. We had to take the willow down as its roots interfered with the drains 🙄 and eventually with the arrival of grandchildren we filled in the pond so the lilies were dispersed around the garden and I still have quite a few decent size clumps 👍🏼

Isn't that pretty! I am quite envious though, my day lilies haven't flowered for last 4 years! Any help would be appreciated!

@drumadixit Hi Uma afraid I can't help - these lilies been here since I moved in in 1993 - were originally around a pond in the garden but we filled it in a few years ago and I dug all the lilies up and spread them around the garden - they continued to flower! 😍

@wagsmomthompsonbtinternetcom when we moved in here 23 years ago where was a pond in the front garden along with willow tree and several other trees + 9ft hawthorn hedge - was like getting to sleeping beauty's castle getting to front door - anyway these surrounded the pond (now dispensed with with the arrival of grandchildren) and have been moved several times half a dozen large clumps still doing well!!!

I think it looks lovely, but don't you think building a garden gives you more pleasure, our house was new so the garden was just a rubble pit 12 years ago! 👌🏼👒
