@daisy-jane Hi Jane we had the fence by this plant replaced a couple of years back so I thought I would thin it out a bit .... all the plants in this border been there since I moved in 23 years ago! I couldn't get a spade or a fork into the ground packed so tight so gave it up and let it do its own thing 😄
