Always loved to potter in the garden but only really in the last couple of years, have I embraced it by redesigning our space and growing from seed

It’s rather large now Sarah! It was the size a medium spud 🥔 when I planted it! @sieveheadsarah

I really must give them a try next year Hayley, I’m thinking I’ll find Taro (it’s other name) in a supermarket 🤔🤔

@sieveheadsarah you sure will! They're easy to find in Asian grocery stores.

So…this one refuses to grow apart from one small green shoot all summer. But now it’s Autumn and in the greenhouse, of course it’s growing! 😂😂

They like to sit in a tray of water during the growing season, very thirsty plants @juliesgarden

I do like these! Would they overwinter in a coldframe okay Hayley?

The best thing is to dry out the bulb, store and start again in Spring, as they need warmth. I have done that with my others, this one has only just started to grow after being in the greenhouse all summer 😁 @italydiva
