My father passed away yesterday and I wanted to get a plant to remember him by so I chose this beautiful little bonsai. I think in going to paint a stone with his name on it and maybe me and my siblings...sort of a family tree. Rest in peace dad #ficusbonsai #ficusbenjamina #ficus

Such a beautiful way to remember him by! I’m sorry for your loss!❤️
Will Its leaves ever grow back? Not sure how to tell if it's alive. All the stems that broke off easily I figured were dead but the trunk seems all good. Not sure what to do #bonsai #losingleaves #plantquestion
usually I wrap with transparent plastic to keep the humidity stable, maybe for 14 days and we'll see the results. Try to peel the cambium, is it still green and wet? if still wet and green, this means there is still a possibility of life. The concept is wrapped with transparent plastic is like a greenhouse effect environments. And maybe you can add vitamin B1 to be fresh again (i dont know what the exactly name on your place).. i hope it will help you..
I will try to peel it back and see tomorrow in daylight I live in pgh pa usa. Also making a greenhouse isnt a bad idea. Its in a pot that I put water in the base and it waters the plant when needed I also spray water on it when im watering the others around it. I got it when my father died to remember him by and symbolize him so I'm sad if it doesnt make it @sinukarta @dirtgirlworld I havent moved it all summer but it was doing poorly losing leaves the whole time
