Gardening is a passion for me. So far I have cultivated container garden, now developing a garden around our house, mostly on weekends.

Since this is a good plant for topiary, I would welcome advice on best way to start on it. Help required friends @KariSamuel @brightcolours @purplebird @jamesshobbs @gjones

I know the smaller the leaf size on a plant the easier it is to get a good shape. Which is why buxus and yew, with their small leaves, are popular. But @pauline33 knows far more than me!

Good to see you have a couple of referrals as I had nothing off the top of my head. Nor at the bottom of my head either. 🙃 I might have scrounged up something on pruning but I realize that is not the same thing really. Sounds like you are in good hands!🤗

Hi Uma sorry took so long to get back to you Weeping Fig is not a plant I'm familiar with I'm an outdoor plant girl and it would need to come inside here but I love making shapes out of any plant so did a bit research and I've sent you a link that was very interesting seems you have to be very careful with sap when pruning can irritate skin and eyes and always prune at a leaf node to encourage bushiness 😊what shape do you fancy 😉 @gjones @brightcolours Hope link works https://.be/2a518R4WhKU
