Ficus has had a good haircut ready for moving house. Not sure whether to try it outdoors when we move - it takes up a lot of floorspace indoors! #ficus #brighton #houseplant #weepingfig

Good luck with the move. Coincidentally, I helping my brother move tomorrow. As for the weeping fig. It will not like it outside - the cool nights, any wind & even being in the sun. It will certainly die as it gets colder if outdoors. I have one & it has reached the size of yours & grown no bigger for at least 10 years as I do not feed it, so maybe that's the answer?

@pie ........Welcome Kate :)
@flof1952 Thanks! Still getting my head round how this works 😀
Hi Kate, look forward to seeing those pics - I too have an old house and like a cottage feel, (with a bit of formal/ Italianesque[?] influence). 😃
Welcome Katie looking forward to your new garden pics 😊
@nessas @donnaandrew Sorry for delayed reply & thanks! We move on Weds so nearly time to get cracking on the garden 😀

@jeatacake Thanks for the advice! I think it'll stay indoors, Google agreed with you too :) I can just keep chopping it back when it gets too large.
You're welcome Kate. It'd be a shame to lose such an excellent specimen. 👍
