I fell in love with the red sisters the first time I ever saw them. My fiance went to a lovely St. Augustine nursery and bought me a trio. Sadly, they seem to completely despise TN. I baby them to no end to just keep them alive. After having them over 6 months, I'm not sure they've grown much at all. But I am happy they made it to warm weather, I was worried for a time that they wouldn't survive this long. #red-sister #hawaiianti
That's a good sign, most of this is also what the ppl at the nursery advised. They were liking quite weak and brown Feb-Mar, despite my attempts to follow the directions to a T. I hope they really root in and grow a good bit this summer.
