When is the best time to plant the seeds?

Well at @fictionalfuture this depends on who you talk to! Some say any time of the year, others say after collection when they are ripe and some say winter time so they get the cold snap to bring on germination. I'll collect all my seeds and plant them out together - around July. This is what I done last year. If you're planning on growing some from seed, don't be disheartened if you don't see any shoots for months and months - you won't until the spring!

Although apparently you can get them to germinate quicker if you place the seeds in the fridge but I've not tried that.
