Couldn't resist this at a plant hunters fair today! Amazing stems. Now I've found out its flower will smell of a cross between cow dung and rotting flesh. Perhaps I'll rethink having it by the bench!😷

Lucky for you the flower and the foliage never appear on the plant at the same time. The flower will only smell for a day or two and appears first in spring. After it completely fades then the leaves start poking up. Great way to to add a lush tropical feel to a shaded corner. I planted mine behind some low growing hosta that contrasts in color and they look rather harmonious together. Even though the leaves are completely types. They both display a foliage 💚 in their own way.
Successful offsets!😃
