Look closely: this tree is smothered by an absolutely MASSIVE dragonfruit beast! Goes about 30-40 ft up. The folks who live under this majestic specimen shrugged off their "ugly cactus" and I just about clutched my pearls. #dragonfruit #pitaya

The people whose yard it's in are fairly new renters, so I suspect they just haven't seen fruit yet. But my friends live next door & they said it gets fruit every year - jealous! I imagine that thing produces a TON.
