I'm not sure what the reason or the garden magic that has occurred, but I have had only 5 or 6 japanese beetles this year! I hand plucked quite a few for the last 3 years and I think it made a huge difference!

I have also had Japanese beetle issues with mine. Yours looks great! I love that color!!

Actually we have less this year than the last 2 years but each day I am out picking them off my flowers as well. They seem to prefer certain colours too. When I went to the garden centre last weekend they were all over the plants outdoors. 🫣 @KariSamuel
