That’s gorgeous 😍 had no idea they got so big 😯
@kez001uk oh yeah i want to plant a few on my ranch and actually see how big they can grow, the more flowers for me the better 😛
@honestgreensco you’re going to be creating a willy wonka world of plants up on your land! 😛

@kez001uk 🤗
The butterflies are going crazy for all the flowering lantana 🌸 this seems to be one of their favorite plants in the gardens i care for. This hillside is covered in it and all the butterflies in the air remind me of being in the goleta butterfly preserve 😁 So many different colors available with lantana, and each year new ones come out.These plants are drought tolerant, pollinator friendly, great for erosion control, produces tons of flowers, and many species even produce a beautiful...(1/2)
They even produce edible berries, but make sure they are fully ripe. Unripe berries are green and ripe ones will be black or blue/purple. The good ones kinda taste like red chapulin cherries to me lol. (2/2)

I've always loved Lantanas but never knew they had berries !! Thanks for the info. I learned something new today. 😀
Is that a cycade I see
How beautiful 💟
@sherrisgarden most people don't for some reason. Alot of indigenous & natives eat the fruit in past and present😎🤙 i think because the unripe berries can be toxic, but ripe ones are fine. Maybe people got scared
Makes sense to me 😀
