Passion fruits coming in 😋 There is about 50 fruit on this 2 year old passion fruit vine. Great for natural shading on pergolas, and very tasty fruit. #pasiflora #spring #farmer #farming #nature #happy #plants #entrepreneur #landscaper #naturephotography #landscaping #losangeles #california #gardening #garden #la #cali #landscapedesign #fruitvines #droughttolerant #gyo #gardener #permaculture #food #foodie #passionfruit #shaderoof #fruit

Beautiful passion flower hanging out with a passion fruit 😊 love the flowers and fruit off these vines. Im extending mine over 30' of fencing and trellising and its been producing tons of fruit since last year. These plants are drought tolerant and fast growers!

Looks great Steve. I have one of those, healthy but no flowers or fruit. What’s the secret to get them to bloom?

@suzieshadow1227gmailcom i got mine at HD for like 26$, 4 years later probably produces 2-300 fruits a yr lol. You should totally get one they are super good for you and easy growers! You would love them. If you cant find one, you can propogate a 6" stem from a mature one, thats what the nurseries do lol.

Haha ya me estoy haciendo gringo 🥺 jk jk 🤣 yes thats why i started growing them actually because my mom has diabetes, they help her alot! Gracias mucho! I appreciate you alot! Its a struggle everyday running a biz, but i love my job 😊

@philstalder if its healthy, but no flowers and fruit id reccomend throwing compost high in Nitrogen like chicken manure or steer manure and then cover with mulch like wood chips high in Carbon. Will create a microfungal and bacterial network for the plant to exchange nutrients with. Plants need nutrients for flowers and fruit, but they cant get them, they exchange with soil ecosystem sugars for them. Most likely soil is lacking nutrients

Thank you Steve for all the great info. I will check our HD for sure! If not there, then I'm on a hunt for a mature one to clip 6" stem haha 😂🤣 👍🏻

Great thanks Steve. I can do all of that. I’m 100% organic so it should be easy. Just so much conflicting info on the internet. I like to hear from people who actually grow and have experience. Thanks again. 👍

@philstalder yeah i feel you. I actually studied environmental science so i took alot of bio, phy, chem and botany, and then i been gardening + farming since a child, so i get annoyed when people just make stuff up too lol. But no store bought anything will do more for a plant then compost and mulch, its the soil you need to focus on not the plant as much. Good soil will actually save you from over/underwater, nutrient imbalances and pests. I just copy nature, nothing unique lol

Here is group of 3 passion fruit vines forming a hedge to provide privacy to a patio. Its evergreen, so it wont be exposed during the winter, and it produces dozens of juicy passion fruits that taste amazing! 😛 if you need a hedge, give edible plants a chance 👍also please stop planting ficus' aka concrete assassins 😂✌ #passionfruit #fruitingvines #fruit #fall #garden #gardening #gardener #nature #happy #plants #entrepreneur #landscaper #permaculture #foodforrest #food #ediblelandscaping
