I've planted that physocarpus with orange helenium, they were together in a pot last year and looked fab late summer, great combo.

It goes so well with orange in this case Geum totally tangerine 🍊 but also with Purple, white and red 👍 such a brilliant shrub @lisa868 yours sounds gorgeous especially as they both enjoy the same conditions 👍👍

The display benches looked desecrated by lunchtime today so emergency plant grab led me to p in the shrub a -z after your post last night it couldn't be anything else 🙂 think positive they will live 👍👍 @pelly 😘
