14/06/19 - the Ninebark is also flowering. Physocarpus is a very drought resistant plant once it gets established, so it’s in my front garden that I hardly ever water. Physocarpus opulifolius 'Diabolo' - it's been in the shade for a bit so the leaves have gone green but now it's planted in bright full sun and should go more red in the coming days! #physocarpus #physocarpusopulifolius #physocarpusopulifoliusdiabolo #ninebark

@kathy @ukgardentags - I think the plant database entry is wrong for this one, this should be spelt 'Diabolo' rather than 'Diablo' I think.....

@richard.spicer.7906 Hi Richard. I agree with you about database. It should by Physocarpus opulifolius 'Diabolo'. Change of position will definitely help with foliage colour! I love planting bright coloured flowers in front of my 'Diabolo', as they really stand out against the foliage! 😀👍😀
