The strawberries had loads of babies and spread them out along the path - luckily they aren't a deep rooted plant and so it was easy enough to get the plants out with root intact and replant in the bed, filling in any gaps. We are replacing the netting because we had a massive tree blown down in the storms in March which collapsed everything. Ah welly, this is a chance for me to weed and mulch in between the plants and to make the nets taller for easy access.

Gonna have a fat strawberry crop this year. This is the second year in for these little beauties and we had a couple of teeny ones last year but the birds had them. This year we are all netted off. Ah, the competence.

Flower pots upside down on bamboo canes will work @IlsonRootsProject
