I've had this cactus forever and never found out what it was ~15 years old.

Does it have long and thin needles?
@blewmage nope😕 what you see is what it has. I also thought at first that it was an eve's needle. It is a bit different though.
I believe this might be Austrocylindropuntia subulata f. monstrosa. It looks great!
