You need to watch bambo and choose one that doesnt spread otherwise it can take up to two years to get rid of it, if it overtakes other plants or you choose to plant something else nearby.
I've grown bamboo from seed though I was very careful as the seedlings look like grass - which I suppose makes sense. One thing to watch out for is make sure a flowering bamboo does not become a dead bamboo, they are v prone to dying after flowering esp if flowering is very "spectacular". Just something to be aware of.

Not sure but if you are going to try you will need to wait for a bit as they are flowers not seeds.

@jamesshobbs you can grow bamboo from seed you have to soak the seed for 24 hours prior to sowing i have never tried so good luck and if you donk
