Mine was chopped down the end of last summer by Keely, I have another one the same Lotts that wasn't touched and it looks sickly @Lottie__O

My pink one could have done with a chop but I left it cos it was over the top of the pergola but it hasn’t flowered on top so it’ll be getting chop this time...having said that the other two are doing great...🌸🌸🌸

@jaynehynesburton @wagsmomthompsonbtinternetcom I'm constantly cutting mine as it grows over the fence and sticks up in the air. The clematis seems like like it as it flowers like mad every year.
