Clematis montana 'Rubens'

#advice just wondering if the neighbours have sprayed some sort of killer on this clematis that’s grown over their side which has obviously killed the plant completely if I was to cut back to my side and plant another there will it grow or has the killer made it so that I can’t use it ? 🤔🤔🤔

I really don’t know what’s happened to this there are very little signs of life a few blooms here and there, I don’t know if the neighbour over the back has put some sort of killer on it as it’s grown over there fence on top of their chicken coop and so sprayed something on it which has more or less completely killed it 😱😱😥

😱😱😱 surely not they wouldn’t just spray or put something on it all they have to do is put it back over the fence Sarah @raregold71 I wouldn’t be very happy if they have 🤔 such a shame 😥😘

I really can’t figure it out Suzie @jadojado29 I admit it did get out of control on their side as it covered the top of their coop, but as you say just chop it and push it back over 😔😔😔
