Help me identify this plant Anyone know what this tree is please #plantid
Looks like apple of some sort Jayney 🍎🤔
Thanks Julie P 😘 @juliesgarden
I agree with Julie, looks like an apple - maybe a crab apple? I know there are red leaved/flowered ones. Looks like a well established one at that, check out the lichen! A sign of good clean air too apparently.
Thanks Tash, I had 2 at the other house and the mess got on my nerves, always loads on the grass always. There is no sign of old apples here 🤔 @tash74
If they're crab apples it's highly likely that the birds made sure there were none left! What sort of condition are they in?
Think they need a good prune, that garden hasn't been touched for a good few years @tash74
Check this out Jayne, might be useful info..... https://www.rhs.org.uk/advice/profile?pid=279
Thanks Tash 😘 @tash74
👌🏻gorgeous photo with lichen 😉
Thankyou, wasn't so happy when I found out it was crabapple, had 2 in the other house and found them a pain 😁 @telswirld

❤️❤️
Wow! That's sensational Jayney ❤
I know, never seen one this colour before, was a bit miffed when I found out it was crabapple, hated the 2 I had in the other house, this had redeemed itself 😁 @jeatacake
It's an absolute beauty 😍👍& I'm green with envy! 😁
Some lovely stuff here the original gardener knew their stuff @jeatacake
You are lucky. It's like stumbling upon a gold mine 👌 Was the garden the main attraction with the move? It was for me 5 years ago.
Some of it although it had turned to jungle, love the house too, a downsize that's just the right size @jeatacake
Same here, to pay off the mortgage & with retirement now very close 😊
Luckily I havent had a mortgage for 20yrs, you've done the right thing @jeatacake
