Help me identify this plant. It seems to have produced 2 white mutant shoots (sports)! 8/6/2016
@jeatacake Looks likes pineapple mint to me. Let me know what leaves smell like 😀
@reedie-cottsge they certainly smell of mint (more so the greener leaves) but could not detect any pineapple.
@jeatacake I will have to go and look at my mint collection to see if I can narrow down which one it is. Will get back to you on this 😀

Hi there😊 i think you'll find its pineapple mint its not as strong smelling of mint but sweeter, i have pineapple sage which smells divine😀
hi @baking Thank you. That seems to be the consensus. I just couldn't detect any pinapple, but that may bre just me! Do you know if you can you eat it?
Yes you can , a quick dessert, chop or slice a fresh pineapple, put on a plate, then with a pestle and mortar or any chopping gadget, chop the mint then add some sugar, then sprinkle the mint sugar over your pineapple and add a dollop of yogurt, ice cream, or clotted cream and enjoy, very simple but tasty 😁 or chop and put in ice cubes and add to cocktail, or make your own mint sauce lol sorry i got carried away😀
